Child Safety Policy

Our Commitment

At Nanneer, we are firmly committed to creating and maintaining a safe, respectful, and responsible digital environment for all users, including children.
We have zero tolerance toward any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual exploitation of minors, or content that endangers or harms children in any way.

All our digital platforms — including the VANAM App and the official website (www.nanneer.org) — operate under this commitment.

Prohibited Content

Nanneer strictly prohibits:

  • Any creation, distribution, or promotion of CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material)
  • Any form of sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving minors.
  • Any harassment, grooming, or predatory behaviour toward minors
  • Any use of our platforms to contact, harm, or manipulate children

Any violation of these principles will result in immediate removal of content, account suspension, and reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Reporting & Moderation Process

We take reports related to child safety very seriously. If you come across any content or behaviour on our platforms that appears to exploit or endanger children:

1. Report it immediately via email to bethechange@nanneer.org with relevant details (screenshots, links, etc.).
2. Our internal moderation team will review the report promptly.
3. Verified violations will be removed immediately, and appropriate legal authorities will be notified in compliance with Indian cyber safety laws and Google’s child safety standards.

We also monitor platform activity to identify and prevent misuse proactively

Legal Compliance

Nanneer complies fully with:

  • The Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, and its amendments related to online safety.
  • POCSO Act, 2012 (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act).
  • Google Play’s Developer Program Policies concerning child safety, privacy, and CSAM. We also uphold international child protection principles and align our practices with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

Data Protection and Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children under 13 years of age. If such data is found, it will be immediately deleted. We ensure that all user data is managed securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
